Begin your journey with an early morning drive from Delhi to Manali. Enjoy the scenic route via Mandi and Kullu, taking in the river valleys, pine forests, and charming hill towns. Drive across Khardung La (17,582 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable passes, to reach the stunning Nubra Valley. Marvel at the cold desert sand dunes of Hunder and enjoy a double-hump camel ride. Visit the Diskit Monastery and spend the night at a camp or guesthouse.

Travel along the adventurous Shyok River route to the breathtaking Pangong Lake, known for its surreal blue waters and changing hues. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and overnight stay in lakeside camps, under a starlit sky.

After witnessing a beautiful sunrise over Pangong, head back to Leh crossing Chang La (17,590 ft). En route, visit Hemis Monastery, one of Ladakh’s most revered monastic sites. Arrive in Leh and relax for the evening.

Begin your return journey by driving back toward Sarchu. Cross high passes like Tanglang La (17,480 ft) and traverse the Morey Plains once more. Reach Sarchu, known for its vast barren beauty, and settle in tents or camps for a rugged Himalayan night stay.

Resume your journey to Manali via Baralacha La and Zingzing Bar. Take in the beauty of rivers, glaciers, and untouched valleys one last time before reaching Manali by late afternoon. Check into your hotel and relax after the tough but thrilling ride.
